I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your child’s Arabic and Islamic Studies teacher for the year 2019- 2020. Please make sure the home work is completed and returned to school every week on Monday, do not leave it at home. October 25, 2019 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh: We are in the process of learning about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Our focus is on his manners and how we can apply those manners in our lives and follow in the Prophet's footsteps. The application of these manners will, inshallah, help us be righteous and virtuous Muslims who follow the guidance of Islam. November 8, 2019 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh: I will be starting assessments on November 13, 2019 inshallah. Please review with your children daily to help them retain what the learn at school. Please check the homework for more information on what to review and practice. Your cooperation in your children's learning is a great way to connect and spend quality time with them, it also enhances their appreciation for learning. December 20, 2019 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh: The first term has come to an end leaving memories of the accomplishments our children have achieved. The next two terms will have more exciting and new things to discover and learn, but for now I would like you to take a few minutes to reflect with your children on what they have accomplished and what they can do ,together with your support, to advance even further. Please reflect on both academic and social achievements as they are equally important for the development of our children. Please continue practicing the concepts taught so far in order to retain what the students have learned. Enjoy the break!
